Father’s Day Barbecuing with Lucille’s

Yesterday we had the pleasure of enjoying Father's day with a majority of the immediate family here at the DuQuette household. It has become a rare occasion due to busy schedules and some of us living in different cities. We spent time swimming, catching up and of course grilling with Lucille!

A little something to satisfy everyone's taste buds and by the end of dinner there wasn't much left over! Share your favorite Lucille's recipes with us on the testimony page. Cheers!

We grilled chicken wings with Lucille's San Francisco Mild and chicken thighs with Lucille's New Orleans Nippy(view recipes on the recipes page or allrecipes.com).

Podesto’s Market & Deli now features Lucille’s Bloody Mary Mix

Lucille's Bloody Mary Mix os now being sold at Podesto's Meat Department in Stockton, CA

Podesto's Meat Deptartment is one of the best around! The Butchers are always so accommodating and go out of their way to get you anything you want. Yesterday as I'm buying Rib Eye Steaks for dinner, I told Harold (the Head Butcher) that Gary & I normally share now share one steak and he suggested that I score the bone so each of us can have some bone. We all know the meat by the bone is the best part. Want a special stuffed rolled roast, they are there for you.

While at Podesto's Market and Deli don't forget to buy some Lucille's Bloody Mary Mix in either San Fransisco Mild, New Orleans Nippy, Cajun Hot or one of each to use as a DRY rub on fish, chicken, pork, lamb, beef or add to your favorite tomato juice or Clamato to create a prefect Bloody Mary, spicy tomato juice or Red Beer. Hope you will share your Lucille's recipes with us.

California Delta Chambers and Visitors Bureau welcomes Lucille’s

The California Delta Chambers & Visitors Bureau is an organization of chambers of commerce, visitors bureaus, businesses and boosters in the vast Sacramento San Joaquin Delta. The area, also called the “California Delta”, strives to enhance the enjoyment for visitors to this unique 1,000-mile waterway, while striving to protect and preserve the area’s fragile beauty.

The Delta is a fresh-water system primarily comprised of fertile agricultural islands that sit below sea level, but are protected by a stout system of levees. It is fed by five major rivers, including the Sacramento River and the San Joaquin River. There is a remoteness to the lightly populated inner Delta. The lifestyle here is decidedly laid back, a sort of Huck Finn kind of existence. Boating, fishing, and camping are a way of life.

The California Delta Chambers & Visitors Bureau proudly welcomes Lucille’s to their family. As a locally owned business, Lucille’s embraces the California lifestyle and promotes relaxation and enjoyment of life. Although a west coast based business, Lucille’s plans to expand as far as she can go and hopefully with the support of the California Delta Chambers & Visitors Bureau, this will become a reality. Thank you to the Chambers and Lucille’s is proud to be a part of this organization!
